First things first

Customer-supplied garments can have coatings, seams, treatments or heat-sensitive fabrics that are not obvious in a product photograph. Approval reduces avoidable risk, but printing remains a permanent process.
Garment compatibility
These items are commonly suitable, subject to fabric-label and print-area approval.
Some items may be declined because their value, construction or material creates unreasonable risk.
From approval to your door
Upload garment photos, the fabric label, artwork, quantity and deadline.
TeeLane reviews the fabric, construction, print area and requested design.
We confirm the quote and give you an order reference before anything is sent.
Your parcel is matched to the reference and checked against the information supplied.
Approved artwork is printed in the confirmed position and inspected before packing.
The finished order is dispatched to your UK return address with tracking.
Fastest route to approval
Parcels without approval or an order reference may be delayed or returned. TeeLane must confirm the garment, artwork, price and timing first.
Send TeeLane photographs of the garment, its fabric label, your artwork, quantity, print position, deadline and return postcode. We assess the request and provide a quote and order reference. Once approved, you post the garment or arrange retailer-direct delivery. We inspect it on arrival, print the confirmed design and dispatch the finished order to your UK address.
Yes, provided the garment is approved before it is sent. Clean T shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, polos, suitable workwear and tote bags are common candidates. Fabric composition, coatings, seams, pockets, zips, print area and heat tolerance all affect suitability.
Yes, but send TeeLane the exact product link for approval before placing the order. Once approved, include your TeeLane order reference in the recipient name or delivery notes. This helps us identify the parcel and match it to your artwork and return address.
A previously worn garment may be considered if it is clean, completely dry, undamaged and suitable for the printing process. Stains, fabric treatments, wear, stretching or residue can affect the result. Send clear photographs and tell TeeLane that the garment has been worn before posting it.
The quote depends on garment type, fabric, quantity, artwork, print size, number of print positions, personalisation, handling and return delivery. TeeLane confirms the complete price before the garment is sent.
No. Production timing begins after the parcel reaches TeeLane, is matched to your order reference and passes the physical inspection. Artwork approval, quantity, print method and current production capacity also affect turnaround. Postal travel to and from TeeLane must be allowed for separately.
Send the highest-quality version available, ideally a transparent PNG, vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG file. State the intended print position and approximate size. TeeLane checks the artwork alongside the garment and will explain if cleanup or a different file is needed before printing.
TeeLane will pause the job and contact you rather than print an item that fails the physical inspection. We will explain the concern and discuss practical options, which may include returning the garment unprinted or using a suitable TeeLane-supplied alternative. Any return cost will be confirmed with you.
For an important batch, spare garments can be useful because customer-supplied stock may contain manufacturing differences or hidden faults. Ask TeeLane how many items to supply for your particular garment, quantity and deadline. Do not send unlisted extras without adding them to the approved stock count.
TeeLane may decline expensive, vintage, sentimental or irreplaceable garments. Printing is permanent, and unfamiliar dyes, coatings or materials can react unpredictably. Always declare the approximate value and significance of the item during approval.
Send garments clean, completely dry and individually folded. Protect them inside a sealed inner bag, use sturdy outer packaging, include your order reference and choose a tracked postal service. Keep your proof of posting and do not attach pins, labels or tape directly to the fabric.
The customer normally arranges and pays for tracked delivery to TeeLane. Return delivery is included as a separate part of the confirmed quote, based on the parcel and destination. TeeLane will not ask you to post anything until these details have been agreed.
Yes, approved garments can be dropped off at 18 Spelman Street, London E1 5LQ. Contact TeeLane first so the garment and artwork can be checked before you travel.
TeeLane can also quote for suitable blank T shirts, hoodies, polos and workwear. If you prefer a particular retailer or garment model, send the product link before buying it. We can compare the options and help you choose the most practical route for your print.
