One useful winter plan—not another generic seasonal page

Winter printing in London, planned around the job.

Cold-weather orders fail when the garment, artwork and deadline are treated as separate decisions. This planner helps you choose a printable winter product, keep branding visible and send TeeLane a quote brief that can actually be checked.

A print-ready winter order

Four checks before choosing the garment

1. Decide whether warmth or identification matters more

A delivery crew working outside needs a different answer from an office team wearing festive tops for one afternoon. Start with where the garment will be worn, how often it will be washed and whether people must be recognisable at a distance. That determines whether you need a hoodie, sweatshirt, visible work layer or simply a seasonal T-shirt.

2. Check the print surface before approving the design

TeeLane can print up to 300 mm wide by 400 mm high, but the garment may offer less usable space. Hoodie pockets, zip lines, jacket panels, seams and reflective bands are real boundaries. Send the exact item or supplier link before building a layout around an area that cannot be printed safely.

3. Make dark-garment contrast deliberate

Black, navy and charcoal are popular in winter because they suit staff use and repeat wear. They can also swallow thin dark artwork. Supply the original file, identify any brand colours that cannot change, and judge the design at its intended print size rather than zoomed in on a monitor.

4. Work backwards from the handover

The useful deadline is when the garments must be in your hands—not the party, shift or market date. Allow time for the final size list, artwork approval, garment confirmation, printing and collection near Brick Lane or an agreed courier handover. Same-day is assessed only after those details are known.

Winter printing questions

Does TeeLane make knitted Christmas jumpers?

No. TeeLane prints suitable sweatshirts, hoodies and customer-supplied garments after checking them. We do not knit garments, and we do not offer embroidery.

What is TeeLane's maximum garment print size?

The maximum production area is 300 mm wide by 400 mm high. The usable size can be smaller when pockets, zips, seams, reflective bands or garment panels restrict placement.

Can winter clothing be printed the same day in London?

Some straightforward jobs may be possible quickly, but only after TeeLane confirms the exact garment, stock or supplied item, usable artwork, quantity and current production capacity. Winter product sourcing can make a planned turnaround more realistic.

Can I supply my own hoodies, sweatshirts or jackets?

Potentially, yes. Contact TeeLane before buying or sending anything. Fabric, coatings, seams, zips, heat sensitivity and existing finishes must be checked, and important orders should include agreed spare garments.

What artwork works best on dark winter garments?

A high-resolution transparent PNG or vector file is the best starting point. Fine dark details may disappear on black or navy fabric, so contrast, outlines and the intended 300 × 400 mm maximum area should be considered before approval.

Can one winter order include staff hoodies, mugs and event shirts?

Yes, suitable mixed-product orders can be quoted. Separate the quantity, sizes, artwork and print position for each product so TeeLane can check production and handover accurately.
