Who should choose RX402?

  • Loading-bay teams
  • Maintenance rounds
  • Cool stockrooms

When the heavier RX402 makes sense

Choose RX402 when the team wants a heavier fleece with adjustable coverage at the hem. Its shock cord lets the wearer change the opening, while the elasticated cuffs differ from the flat bound finish on RX401. Neither the weight nor those details establish a temperature rating. For a busy stockroom with occasional loading-bay work, compare the heavier fabric with how much time staff spend in heated rooms.

Choose the colour around the largest size

Start with the largest size needed, then choose a shared colour. The current supplier listing spans XS–7XL in Black, Navy and Charcoal, but Bottle Green and Red stop at 5XL. A team needing a 6XL fleece should therefore check the first three colours before agreeing a uniform palette. These are listed variants, not a promise that every size is in stock.

Build a loading-bay uniform around the shift

For example, a maintenance team may work indoors for most of the morning and make short trips to an unheated loading area. Ask staff whether a heavier fleece is comfortable during the indoor tasks before standardising RX402. If it will usually be removed indoors, a logo on the layer underneath may be more useful than increasing the fleece print size.

For prolonged wet work, assess a separate suitable outer layer. RX402 is a fleece, and this page does not establish rain protection or PPE suitability. Keep adjustable cords and workplace clothing rules in mind when choosing garments for tasks around machinery.

Approve the smallest print panel first

Send the smallest and largest requested sizes with the proposed logo width. An artwork proof based only on a large fleece can hide clearance problems on a smaller chest panel. Keep names short enough to remain readable without reducing the lettering to fine strokes in the pile.

For repeat orders, retain the approved garment code, colour name, logo dimensions and position. A replacement garment still needs an availability and decoration check; an earlier order does not establish future stock or an automatic production deadline.

What TeeLane checks on this product

Treat the front zip as a firm boundary: a single centred transfer cannot bridge it. A compact chest logo should sit above the side pockets, with enough space for the smallest garment in the order. Fleece pile may obscure tiny lettering and thin lines; send the artwork at its proposed physical width so TeeLane can assess simplification and suitability. The back photo shows a broad panel, but it does not prove that a large transfer will bond reliably. Heat, pressure and adhesion need checking on the actual garment before any placement is confirmed. TeeLane does not offer embroidery.

TeeLane's maximum production area is 300 mm wide by 400 mm high, but the usable area on this garment can be smaller. Zips, pockets, seams, linings, coatings, reflective bands and garment size all affect the final position.

RX402 personalisation questions

Does 300gsm tell me the temperature RX402 can handle?

No. It describes fabric weight, not a certified warmth level. Activity, wind, time outside and other layers change the decision. This page makes no waterproof or temperature-protection claim.

Can our whole team order Bottle Green, including 7XL?

The supplier currently lists Bottle Green and Red through 5XL. Black, Navy and Charcoal extend through 7XL. Confirm the complete size and colour combination before collecting staff orders.

Can I put a wide company name across the front zip?

Plan separate chest placement instead. A continuous transfer across the full zip is unsuitable, and pocket openings further restrict the lower front. Send a back option if a wider company name is essential.

Will the chest print remain visible under a coat?

Only when the coat is open or removed. For outdoor crews, decide which layer actually needs identification; a fleece-only logo may be hidden during the part of the shift when customers see the team.
